PATIENT EDUCATION

We believe it’s important that our patients have as much information and preparation as possible prior to chemotherapy treatment. As a result, every patient for whom their physician recommends chemotherapy is scheduled for a one-on-one consultation with one of our Patient Care Coordinators. This 60-90 minute individualized education session reviews specific information about treatment drugs, side effects and symptom management. We strongly encourage patients to bring a family member or loved one to this session.
