In addition to a soothing environment complete with water fountains, aquariums, plenty of natural light and a meditation room for patient relaxation, we offer public Wi-Fi, an education resource center and a children’s waiting room. We also provide activities for patients and caregivers, including yoga and exercise classes, support groups and informational programs.

The center offers medical science’s latest treatment innovations, and with 109,000 square feet of treatment and administrative space, is designed to accommodate 60,000 patient visits per year. Yet, the patient areas, the amenities and the personal attention we provide make the center feel comforting and inviting.

The Mark H. Zangmeister Center Hosts Lilly Oncology On Canvas℠ Art Exhibit
Competition features entries from cancer survivors, patients and care givers

WHAT: Lilly Oncology on Canvas, an art exhibition honoring the journeys traveled by millions of people affected by cancer worldwide, will be on display at The Mark H. Zangmeister Center from July 21 to August 1, 2008. The exhibit will showcase 75 selected pieces of art from the 2006 Oncology on Canvas competition. WHY: Lilly Oncology on Canvas is a biennial art competition that invites people diagnosed with any type of cancer, their families, friends, and healthcare providers to express, through art and in narrative, the life-affirming changes that give their cancer journey meaning.

Oncology on Canvas was launched in 2004 as a way to honor the journeys undertaken by women when confronted by a cancer diagnosis. The first competition received more than 400 pieces of art from 23 countries. In 2005, the art began a tour of more than 100 cities throughout the world.

In 2006, the competition was opened to anyone impacted by cancer and resulted in more than 2,000 entries from 43 countries. In 2007, the traveling art exhibit inspired people in nearly 200 cities across the globe.

WHO: Lilly Oncology on Canvas is presented by Eli Lilly and Company, a world leader in cancer research and treatment, in partnership with the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship (NCCS). This exhibit is made possible by the participation of The Mark H. Zangmeister Center.

Ad series celebrates courageous, inspiring stories of hope and healing

(Columbus, Ohio) July 7, 2009 – The Mark H. Zangmeister Center, a leading central Ohio oncology and hematology care center, today launched an integrated marketing campaign to showcase the center’s cutting edge cancer treatment and patient-centric philosophy.

The campaign, “My Cancer. My Life.”, launches with a series of thirty-second television commercials featuring real Zangmeister Center patients sharing how they have successfully managed their cancer while living rich, full lives.
