Stephen J. Andrews, M.D.

A graduate of John Carroll University, Dr. Andrews received his M.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. He served his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, and completed his fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, where he was awarded the American Cancer Society Clinical Oncology Fellowship. Dr. Andrews served in the United States Army Medical Corps in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Darnall Army Hospital at Fort Hood, Texas, and was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal and the Army Commendation Medal. The author of numerous peer-reviewed publications, Dr. Andrews is a contributing author of Gynecologic Cancer: Handbook of Cancer Chemotherapy, 7th Edition. His major research interests focus on immunologic therapy for ovarian cancer and the treatment of recurrent ovarian cancer. Dr. Andrews is board certified by the Obstetrics Gynecology Board and the Gynecologic Oncology Board. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the National Board of Medical Examiners, a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a full member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists.
