Dr. Segal received his medical degree from The Ohio State University and completed his internship and residency at Wayne State University in Detroit, where he was assistant professor of medicine. He completed his fellowship in the Division of Hematology/Oncology at The Ohio State University. Board certified in medical oncology, hematology and internal medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Segal is on the teaching staff at Mount Carmel Medical Center in Columbus and is clinical assistant professor of medicine at The Ohio State University. He formerly served as medical director at Hospice of Columbus and as chairman of the Department of Medicine at Mount Carmel Medical Center. Dr. Segal is a board member of the American Cancer Society in Columbus. He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Society of Hematology, Community Oncology Alliance, Columbus Community Clinical Oncology Program, Southwest Oncology Group, National Surgical Adjuvant Breast & Bowel Project, Academy of Hospice Physicians, National Hemophilia Foundation, Columbus Medical Association, The Ohio State Medical Association and the Ohio Hematology Oncology Society.
