Andrea Linhart, MSN, APRN-CNP
Andrea Linhart started her education with the thought of becoming a novelist, earning a Bachelor of Arts in English from Ohio State University. However, her plans changed when she started her first job out of college as an administrative assistant for a surgical oncologist and being diagnosed with malignant melanoma. Both of these personal experiences helped influence a career change into nursing. Andrea received a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Chamberlin College of Nursing.
After spending six years as a bedside oncology nurse Andrea felt she could use her knowledge and experience to continue to serve and care for cancer patients. She returned to school to become a nurse practitioner earning a Master of Science degree in nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing. Andrea is passionate about creating personal connections with her patients and helping them through the challenge of living life with cancer.
Andrea is a Board-certified nurse practitioner with active memberships in the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Oncology Nurses Society and the Order of the Eastern Star. She is married with three young boys and two dogs. In her free time she loves watching her boys play sports, traveling with family and is an avid reader.
