Erica Nance is originally from Wooster, Ohio and decided to move to Columbus because it’s a growing city with diversity yet still close enough to her hometown to visit family. She decided to pursue a career in the medical field because of her love of science and also the desire to help people.

Originally starting her career as a chemist, she decided the solitude and monotony was not for her and decided to go back to school. Erica graduated with a Master of Health Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies from South College in Knoxville, Tenn.

Erica was drawn to oncology because the patients seem to be more naturally appreciative of the care they receive. She is married with two kids and in their free time they enjoy exploring local parks, going to the zoo, visiting family and traveling.
