This new, easy, effective and fun class integrates the fundamentals of yoga to create a program that can be done while seated in a chair.  Now everyone can exercise, regardless of physical limitations, age or energy level.

Our Gentle Yoga class helps those living with cancer cope with challenges of the disease. Yoga reduces anxiety, stress, fatigue, and improves self-confidence. Yoga helps to increase strength, endurance, flexibility and range of motion and increase lymphatic drainage.

Look Good, Feel Better is led by a volunteer cosmetologist whose focus is on make-up application, wigs and head coverings and skin care changes as a result of chemotherapy treatment. The class is approximately 2 hours in length and a support person is encouraged to join you. Registration is required. Please call the American Cancer Society at 1-800-ACS-2345 to register for Look Good, Feel Better.

Our monthly club features both fiction and non-fiction books on a variety of topics, including personal battles with cancer and other chronic illnesses.
