Samantha Ruhlen is a Board-certified family nurse practitioner who has experience treating cancers of all types. She strives to ensure her patients are well-educated about their diagnosis and treatment options and are able to maintain a quality of life that aligns care with the priorities that are of the utmost importance to them.

She graduated from The Ohio State University in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. Her dedication to her patients and desire to practice at a higher level and provide better patient care inspired her to obtain a master’s degree in nursing focusing on the family nurse practitioner track from The Ohio State University.

Her background includes working as a staff nurse on the acute leukemia medical unit/progressive care unit at The James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute and as a staff nurse in the emergency department oncology pod at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, Oncology Nursing Society and American Nurses Association.

When Samantha is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their nieces and nephews as well as reading a good book by the pool or on the beach.
